Tachog Lhakhang
Tachog Lhakhang is a small but historically significant Buddhist temple located in the Paro Valley of Bhutan along the road between Paro and Thimphu. The temple is associated with Master Thangtong Gyalpo, a famous Tibetan Buddhist master, Buddhist engineer, and iron-chain bridge builder who is believed to have visited Bhutan in the 15th century. This traditional iron-chain suspension bridge crossing the Paro Chhu (Paro River), the bridge is attributed to Thangtong Gyalpo, who is said to have built numerous iron-chain bridges across Tibet and Bhutan.
